Keeping your key safe
Your key and its recovery phrase are essential: protect them.
Your private key (and the passphrase/mnemonic protecting it) are the only way to decrypt the reports you are responsible for. Nobody, not even the platform operator, can recover them for you.
- Store the key file and the mnemonic in safe, separate places.
- Never share the key or the password.
- If you lose both, data encrypted with that key cannot be recovered.
